- Identification Data: Legal name, stage name, email, date of birth, and residential address in order to process licensing agreements, royalty payouts, and store profile creation.
- Financial Information: For royalty payouts and subscription processing, we securely collect billing and required tax information through third-party providers (Stripe and PayPal).
- Usage Data: Information about your interaction with our platform, including IP addresses, browser type, and track/video generation history.
2. Use of Information
The collected information is used for the following exclusive purposes to provide our services:
- Service Provision: Distribute your music to streaming platforms, send proper metadata to DSPs as required by industry standards, and enable our platform's AI models.
- Payments and Taxation: Process collected royalties, generate financial reports, and comply with applicable tax laws.
- Communications: Send updates regarding your releases, Quality Control (QC) alerts, and promotional information (subject to your prior consent).
- Security and Integrity: Prevent fraud, artificial streams, and any misuse of Soniply services in accordance with our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing Information
Soniply Media LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any reason, except in the following unavoidable scenarios:
- Service Partners (DSPs): Platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, etc., require the names of artists, songwriters, and work information for publication and monetization.
- Payment and Support Providers: We share the minimum necessary information with channels like Stripe (billing) and PayPal/Banks (royalty payouts), which operate under PCI-DSS security levels.
- Legal Compliance: When required by current applicable law, a strict civil obligation, or in good faith belief to investigate Copyright infringements or manifest fraudulent activity in a profile.
4. Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as European GDPR or California CCPA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Demand the rectification or correction of inaccurate information that hinders distribution or payments.
- Request the deletion of your account and termination of distribution services (Takedown request). Keep in mind that certain accounting records for royalty payments cannot be immediately erased and must be retained for mandatory legal periods.

We maintain rigorous technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access or use. We partner with world-class infrastructure (Cloudflare, encrypted databases) to preserve every uploaded musical metadata.
